Danube and Sava, two big and beautiful rivers, surround Belgrade’s contours and decorate the city’s spirit. On a cruise on you will get to see Belgrade from a different and amazing perspective.
Cruise on Danube and Sava
With an audio guide in English and Serbian you’ll get to know more about Belgrade during 20 km trip along city’s banks. After boarding at New Belgrade bank we will cruise near Small War Island or Horse Island, natural reservation protected by the government. While sailing to the Sava and Danube confluence you may observe river caserns. The confluence is marked with a visible line between two river flows and this position is the best for city observation. We continue the sail on Danube and pass the Great War Island, reservation of endangered birds and wild animals.
Kalemegdan
On the banks of the old City you will see the oldest preserved medieval building of the Belgrade Fortress – Tower Kula Nebojša, and right after Lower Town of the Fortress – modern sports centre „Milan Gale Muškatirović”.
Ada Bridge
We sail back to Sava to the pier on the right bank of Sava, more than 50 000 of tourists land here per year. From this spot a great view on many bridges crossing Sava is available; the first one is Brankov Bridge, the first suspension bridge in Belgrade. You will also have a chance to see the new Ada Bridge, the biggest suspension bridge with one pylon that connects two banks of Sava. It was built in 3 years in order to reduce the traffic in the city centre and across the old bridge “Gazela”. On the return to the pier we’ll pass Modern Art Museum on the left bank of Sava. The tour ends at the boarding pier.
Boats have skylight roofs that give you a panoramic view of the city during any weather conditions.
