Restaurant Varoš Kapija, Belgrade
The restaurant dates back to 1920 when it existed under the name of Kosmaj. After the World War 2 in the 1950s, it was named Topličin Venac after the street of the same name. During its 90 years of opulent tradition, the restaurant changed its name several times preserving at the same time the spirit of old Belgrade. In 2005 the restaurant underwent refurbishment and acquired a sophisticated mixture of restaurant elegance and bohemian atmosphere making it convenient both for everyday occasions and business and private celebrations. The restaurant services are expanded by offering event catering, food delivery services and take away food. Varoš Kapija disposes with 60 to 70 seats. The restaurant is divided into two levels: a casual tavern-like downstairs section and the upstairs gallery divided into three sub-sections with a modern interior. Natural materials dominate the restaurant, making one feel at home. With the first warm sunny days in Belgrade, our guests can enjoy the beautiful garden of our restaurant.
