Hotel Vojvodina 3*, Novi Sad
Hotel Vojvodina is the oldest hotel in Novi Sad built in 1854 and located in the very center of the city. During its history that is more than 150 years long the hotel has always been the shelter of cultural and political life of the city. The original name of the hotel was “At Queen’s Elisabeth” called after wife of the Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria but afterwards it changed the name 2 more times. The second name was “Queen Maria” after the wife of Yugoslavian King Aleksandar Karađorđević. The modern name was received in 1945 after World War the Seconds. Although electricity in the city was installed only in 1910, hotel had it since 1899. Since it was built the hotel hasn’t changed its original look.
